Performer Stammtisch 2003-2013
Performer Stammtisch was founded in 2003 in order to connect the Berlin performance art scene, to keep each other updated on what we were working on, and to help one another out with opportunities.
For many years, we met on the second Monday of each month, watched performances, talked about them and had a beer or two. The events were social, professional and educational in nature. As Stammtisch became known, artists from around the world, visiting or staying in Berlin, joined and presented their work. Our motto was "If you call your shit performance art, we want to see it". The only condition to present work was to join an artists talk afterwards.
Performer Stammtisch was 100% no budget voluntary work. We did not produce performances, pay for travels or artists fees. But there were free drinks, professional feedback and the best introduction to the world of Berlin performance art.
For much of its existence, Performer Stammtisch was run in close collaboration with Florian Feigl.

Month of Performance Art Berlin MPA–B 2011-2015
The annual month of Performance Art took place in Berlin in May 2011 to 2015. MPA-B was founded during a Stammtisch meeting in February of 2011. It grew into a common effort of Berlin's independent Performance Art curators, organisers and venues to highlight the great contributions performance artists are making to the Berlin art scene, exchange audiences and get our hidden art out of the closet and into the light of the day.
